Welcome to Central Victorian Reclaimed Timber!

Central Victorian Reclaimed Timber began as a furniture manufacturer in 2012. With a short fall in local support for the industry of reclaimed/recycled timber in the Bendigo region, we decided to open a timber supply business in 2013 catering for the handyman, furniture maker and/or renovator.

Along with Central Victorian Reclaimed Timber, we now run a furniture company-

Our aim is to offer recycled & re-usable timber for all your home, business and property needs, whatever it may be.

Here’s the advantages of using recycled timbers:

  • A positive environmental effect
  • Conservation of old growth forests
  • Increased carbon storage
  • Lower greenhouse gas emissions

Recycled timber products can be re-used to create unique effects in:

  • Hardwood flooring
  • Decking & beams
  • Joists & trusses
  • Posts, bollards
  • Benchtops, furniture & cladding
  • Home walls

Recycling timber has become popular due to it being a environmentally friendly product. Common belief among consumers is that by purchasing recycled wood, the demand for “green timber” will fall and ultimately benefit the environment. Greenpeace also view recycled timber as an environmentally friendly product, citing it as the most preferable timber source on their website. The arrival of recycled timber as a construction product has been important in both raising industry and consumer awareness towards deforestation and promoting timber mills to adopt more environmentally friendly practices. 1. I’d like to send you a specification for some recycled veranda flooring so you could give me a quote. Do you have a contact email I can use? I am in Yandoit between Daylesford and Castlemaine.
